A few words from the Trustees

Our dance group started in July 2010 with the support of a Lottery Grant.

We are run by disabled volunteers for the benefit of disabled people   We offer opportunities for social and physical activity through dance and welcome all disabled people (wheelchair and non wheelchair users) and their carers or family and friends.

Our qualified dance instructor, has undertaken a Level 1 Instructor’s course covering medical and dance theory.

We mostly dance in formation either partnering another wheelchair user or a standing partner.  We will learn to dance all styles of dance including the Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep and Latin dances such as the Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive including some Country and Western.

Isca Wheelchair Dancers offer public demonstrations so if you would like to see us dance, why not get in touch.

We hope you will be inspired to come along and join our dance group.

If you would like to make a donation to our “self organised and not run for profit group” we would very much appreciate this.  Financial support can assist us with our everyday costs like room hire and transport costs for our members.

Thank you
